Spend the day shopping on 17th Avenue, wander the pathway in beautiful Princes Island Park or grab a bite to eat on the always buzzing Stephen Avenue. Calgary’s inner city has a little something for everyone.
1. Stephen Ave.
Lined with restaurants and shops housed in historic sandstone buildings and architecture.
2. Kensington Village
Located on the north side of the Bow, this laid-back, trendy neighbourhood is a hub for coffee shops and boutiques.
3. 17th Avenue
This stretch is a hot dining destination year- round with everything from casual cafés to upscale wine bars.
4. Mission 4th Street
There are plenty of restaurants along the way and a bevy of locally-owned shops and coffee houses.

The main strip, 9th Avenue, is home to an abundance of locally-owned boutiques and restaurants, as well as several live music venues.
7. East Village
Undergoing an extensive revitalization, The East Village is attractively located directly east of the downtown core.
8. Marda Loop
This neighbourhood located in the southwest is full of restaurants, bars, and shops and is easy to get around on foot.
The Beltline has plenty to see and do. Eleventh Avenue is known as the “design district” as it is lined with several art galleries.
