Home to the Oakride Centre and Langara College, Oakridge boasts several large green spaces, mature tree-lined streets and an excellent 18 hole golf course.
The transformation of Oakridge is going to be nothing short of astounding.
What was once the Oakridge Centre is quickly morphing into a stunning 400+ hectares of sleek modern high rises, a new shopping centre and cultural hub in the heart of the city.
Oakridge, in it’s original form, is a highly diverse community with excellent transit, parks and schools in, and around, the community. With the addition of Oakridge Park, this west side neighbourhood is quickly becoming a highly sought after destination.

Oakridge is located on the west side of Vancouver and bordered by South Cambie, South Granville, Main and Cambie.
GET OUTSIDE
There's plenty of parks in the area and beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park is only a few blocks away.
Tisdale Park is the largest in the community with ample green space, playground and pathways for a walk, jog or bike ride.
The beautifully manicured Queen Elizabeth Park, the second-most visited park in Vancouver, is only block away and offers some of the best views in the city. This massive park offers a pitch and putt course, tennis courts, lawn bowling and much more. At the pinnacle of the park lies the incredible Bloedel Conservatory.
For those looking to tee it up, Langara Golf Course is only minutes south of the neighbourhood and offers a challenging 18 holes.

The community is family friendly with several school options to choose from.
Both public and private schools are within walking distance or only a short drive away.
Elementary schools are plentiful with Van Horne Elementary and Jamieson Elementary right within the community. Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School is a few blocks south for the older students. King David High School and Vancouver College are excellent private school options. Langara College on West 49th Avenue offers a wide range of courses for those seeking a post-secondary education.
The Marpole Oakridge Community Centre anchors the neighbourhood and offers residents several programs and events, along with top amenities like a fitness centre, racquet courts, spray park, whirlpool and sauna.

While Oakridge Park develops, residents have easy access to nearby shops & services.
There's lots of diverse options between the retail sector on South Granville and the Punjabi Market on Main Street.
Server local shops & services flow down Granville and give locals plenty options. The newly developed Safeway sits just north of 70th Ave and serves as the go to grocery hub for the community. Marine Gateway, on Cambie St. and SW Marine Dr., has a Winners, T & T Supermarket, Cineplex Cinemas, Fitness World & Shoppers Drug Mart. Additional big box names like Canadian Tire, Best Buy and Sportchek are on the eastern side of the complex.
