Located between Manitoba Street, Salt Street, Walter Hardwick Avenue and Athletes Way, the two giant sparrow sculptures keep watch over the Square, which is the central point for the bustling Olympic Village shopping district.

The perfect spot for to grab a beer while overlooking False Creek and the downtown core, the Olympic Village claims some of the city’s best patios and craft breweries, like the Craft Beer Market, Tap and Barrel, Steel toad and more.

A good cup of coffee is never far away when you’re in the Village. Stick to the classics with Starbucks, or sample some of Vancouver’s best coffee roasters, like JJ Bean and Rocanini.

Despite its size, the Olympic Village boasts a small, thriving retail community, including the likes of Terra Breads, London Drugs and Legacy Liquor – the largest private liquor store in British Columbia.
