Neighbourhood Guide

Olympic Village

West Side, Vancouver

What started as housing for the 2010 Olympic athletes has blossomed to one of the most coveted areas in Vancouver.

A modern seaside sanctuary with Olympic roots.

Technically part of False Creek, the former housing for the 2010 Winter Olympians has rapidly transformed into an enclave of luxury condos with pristine water & city views.

As The Birds keep watch over the community, you’ll feel how vibrant the neighbourhood is with people buzzing along the seawall, chattering on the patios and relaxing in the village square. The dynamic, yet calm energy of the community makes for a great place to live.

At any given time you'll see people biking, running, rollerblading or walking their dog around the seawall.

Activities in Olympic Village are not limited to just land.  The Creekside Paddling Centre is right on the doorstep and is home to The Canadian International Dragon Boat Festival Society. This floating facility serves the huge demand for public padding programs in False Creek by providing instruction, boats and equipment for public use, and hosting paddling competitions – including North America’s largest Dragon Boat Festival.
