Anchored by the Jericho Sailing Centre, this pristine beach is buzzing with sail boats, kayaks and beachgoer's.

Jericho Beach is a laid-back, large strip of golden sand, beautiful green space and some of the best views in the city. Locals and visitors enjoy kayaking, kite-surfing, beach volleyball, sunbathing and sunset bike rides.

One of the biggest selling points of Jericho Beach is it’s is not overly crowded, which is ideal for those who want a day at the beach but not the chaos that usually goes with a sunny day in Vancouver.  The primary attraction is the Jericho Sailing Centre, where you’ll find several sailing boats, kayakers, winder surfers and kite boardings cruising along the beachfront. The centre also provides lessons, rentals and a fully service restaurant with an outdoor patio that boasts some of the best views in Vancouver. 

The 47-hectare park and beach offers everything from duck ponds to athletic courts, picnic areas, off-leash dog area and walking trails. The Jericho Pier is usually busy with people fishing, taking photos and enjoying the stunning views of the Burrard Inlet and the North Shore Mountains. They also host events like the popular summer Folk Music Festival.
