Downtown East

Vancouver West Neighbourhoods

Arbutus Ridge
Located just south of Kitsilano, Arbutus Ridge is an affluent & tight-knit neighbourhood with excellent amenities nearby.
Cambie
Home to Queen Elizabeth Park, the energetic neighbourhood of Cambie boasts a thriving shopping district and ever-changing infrastructure.
Dunbar
Predominantly a residential neighbourhood, Dunbar is a favourite for both families, and students at UBC. The commercial strip on Dunbar Ave is anchored by the historic Dunbar Theatre.
Fairview
This highly sought after community is perfect for the urban family with nearby access to the seawall where you can walk, bike or relax in the park and enjoy some seaside time.
False Creek
This seaside community has undergone an incredible transition from industrial land to a stunning waterfront community. It's nothing short of amazing.
Kerrisdale
Centered along 41st avenue, Kerrisdale is a charming community with stunning tree-lined streets and the popular Kerrisdale Village with an excellent mix of shops & services.
Kitsilano
One of the most coveted neighbourhoods in Vancouver, Kitsilano is the perfect example of a beachside community with its pristine beaches and laid back vibes.
MacKenzie Heights
This quaint west side community oozes with charm & showcased by huge, tree-lined lots, character homes & a small commercial corridor on McKenzie St. & 33rd Ave.
Marpole
One of Vancouver's oldest communities, Marpole is dotted with green space throughout, and it's easily accessible to the Granville corridor for shopping & dining.
Mount Pleasant West
This recently rejuvenated neighbourhood has a little something for everyone, including a plethora of breweries, big box retail and the uber trendy Olympic Village.
Oakridge
Home to the Oakridge Centre and Langara College, Oakridge boasts several large green spaces, mature tree-lined streets and an excellent 18 hole golf course.
Olympic Village
What started as housing for the 2010 Olympic athletes has blossomed to one of the most coveted areas in Vancouver.
Point Grey
One of the older, and more expensive, neighbourhoods in Vancouver. Point Grey includes many beaches with stunning views on the city.
Quilchena
Anchored by Quilchena Park, a large urban oasis with the north shore mountains as a backdrop, this tranquil neighbourhood offers exemplary peaceful west side living.
Shaughnessy
Predominately residential, Shaughnessy large historic properties, beautiful botanical gardens & peaceful parks creates the perfect retreat for the uber wealthy.
South Cambie
South Cambie is one of Vancouver’s smallest community but makes room for key amenities like Langara College and Langara Golf Course.
South Granville
Located near the south end of Vancouver, South Granville is a peaceful sanctuary while offering easy access to local shops, downtown and YVR Airport.
Southlands
Conveniently located near UBC, downtown and the airport, Southlands is known for its high-end estates, large urban farms, and home prices that make headlines.
S.W. Marine
Situated between Kerrisdale and Southlands, this primarily residential neighbourhood takes on a mix of its neighbours with gated mansions, equestrian stables and stunning ocean views to the southwest.
University
Home to The University of British Columbia and Pacific Spirit Park, this affluent neighbourhood is essentially a city within a city and provides the perfect balance between nature & city life.
Vancouver East Neighbourhoods
The neighbourhoods in Vancouver East are an eclectic mix of historic homes, buzzing commercial shopping & dining and evolving southern border in The River District.
Champlain Heights
This walkable neighbourhood boasts three schools, the 5th largest park in Everett Crowley Park, and it's anchored by the Champlain Heights Community Centre.
Collingwood
What started as a neighbourhood full of homes, Collingwood has experienced tremendous growth with several condo buildings and is now a transit hub with three Skytrain stations.
Fraser
A great place to raise a family, Fraser boasts large parks and outdoor amenities along with local businesses like delis, tailors, barbers, and ethnic food stores in South Hill.
Fraserview
In an ideal central location, Fraserview has quick access to Commercial Drive, UBC, Richmond and YVR Airport - and it's home to one of Vancouver's best golf courses.
Grandview-Woodland
Anchored by the famous Commercial Drive (aka The Drive), this eclectic and trendy neighbourhood has a funky urban vibe, friendly folks and tons of energy.
Hastings
Just west of Hastings-Sunrise, the neighbourhood of Hastings, is a bit of a hipster hideout with a mix of retailers, restaurants & coffee shops and residents who love being close to downtown.
Hastings Sunrise
With close proximity to Downtown Vancouver via the Hastings corridor, and the North Shore via the Second Narrows Bridge, Hastings-Sunrise (aka East Village) is an up-and-coming neighbourhood.
Killarney
Killarney is a quiet neighbourhood lined with small shopping plazas and residential cul-de-sacs. It also boasts some of the largest green space in Vancouver.
Knight
Centrally located, Knight is a multicultural neighbourhood that's conveniently located along Knight Street, a busy inner city artery.
Main
Hip and chalked full of character. The neighbourhood of Main is a small pocket that borders trendy Main Street, which has experienced a revival of stores from cool dives to chic stores and cafés.
Mount Pleasant East
Often referred to as “South Main”, Mount Pleasant encompasses the stretch of Main Street between East 2nd and East 33rd avenues, including the residential streets on either side.
Renfrew
Technically part of Hastings-Sunrise, Renfrew is home to a large mix of middle-class multicultural residents and attracted independent retailers and restaurants.
Renfrew Heights
Bordering Burnaby and Metrotown, Renfrew Heights boasts great views of the north shore mountains and offers quick access to all types of shopping, dining and transit.
South Vancouver
Diverse in ethnicity, South Vancouver is showcased by the Punjabi Market around 49th and the newly revitalized Sunset Park with an amphitheatre, community garden and dog park.
Strathcona
The renewed interest in Strathcona has generated a mix of trendy retail stores and cool cafés stretched along rows of funky warehouse buildings, and has become a bit of a hipster hideout.
Victoria
Centrally located between Burnaby and Vancouver West, the growing community of Victoria is multicultural with a large with a large Indo-Canadian population. It's a great destination for fresh produce, imported goods, and international cuisine.
